Scissor Addiction – Part Deux

I must confess that my addiction to scissors has not improved.  As a matter of fact, since I first ‘fessed up’ back in August…which you can read about here if you missed it…it’s gotten worse!

Those pictured above are only a small representation of my collection but I must share with you my new way of displaying them.

A glass flower frog!

Don’t they look so cool displayed that way?

What I haven’t shown is the second one…also full.  *sigh*  I’ll save that for another time.

All of my swap gifts are done, wrapped, packaged and ready to mail.  Two are being sent tomorrow and the last one can be mailed on Friday.  One is going to Ontario, another to the UK and the last one to Australia.  Now I can concentrate on my Christmas gifts which are coming along nicely as well.

Happy stitching!

Kaaren ♥

  5. You did say you had other collections, and those scissors definitely qualify as a collection! Gotta have enough to sheer all those sheep. LOL. The frog makes a GREAT display. Of course I found myself googling frogs... and I don't have that many scissors. Silly me.

  6. Wow, what a delightfully wonderful idea - they look great. I understand this addiction - I suffer with the same. Sigh! :-) Where does one get a glass frog?

And, by the way I love, love, love the box (obviously made by your talented hands) behind the Frog O'Scissors. Beautiful.

  9. Ah, a woman after my own heart. I came across a porcelein flower frog last spring that looks like an artichoke with three tiers. Well, the darned thing is filled up now with scissors, and then I've found about eight different ones. I love how they look in the frog. You can never have enough scissors!!

  20. I'm going to have to look for a frog, maybe at the local thrift shop. I confess, I've bought two more pair since I fessed up. In my defense, they are small ones with serrated blades which are good for cutting around appliques.

  28. Hi Kaaren! My collection are displayed in the same way which I think I have told you before. I never tire of seeing it in my sewing cupboard. I keep all my antique and vintage items together. One advantage to having this collection is that it is small and easy to place somewhere. Loved seeing yours again.

    Hugs ~
