First Friday Freebie #11

Can you believe that it’s July already?  Where did June go?

At the outset, I’d like to wish my fellow Canadians a belated Happy Canada Day…

canflagrow

and to my American friends, a Happy 4th.

I hope that you like this month’s First Friday Feebie design.    Allow me to presentbee16

A closer look at the stitched area…

When I printed my copy of the PDF file, for some reason, the line drawing turned out smaller than my original and I have to apologize because I don’t know how to adjust it.   I do all my drawings on an 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of paper and they usually fill most of that space.  Please feel free to enlarge the line drawing to suit your individual needs.

Happy stitching!

Another beauty!! One thing you can check on your printer is that the box 'scale to fit page' is not checked.

Hi Kaaren; the downsizing of your line drawing seems to be a problem with PDF conversion. I have tried a lot of things to get it correct, but the bestI have come up with is to....scan the line drawing into a Word Document, right click then select 'Format Picture' then; select "size" and change "scale" to 102%. Centre the document as well before converting to PDF. It isn't the exact size; but most times is fairly close to it.
Hope it works for you.
Kind Regards
Judith

Cute cute cute, thank you! About your scan to pdf..........I found on mine that when scanning 8.5 x 11paper that if I crop it to 8.25 x 10.75 my drawings will reprint same size (have an HP photosmart, but my other scanner/printer did the same thing.) I have heard others saying something about saving it a 97% or something like that. Cyndi

Kaaren,

Though I wish I had more time to do a little more red work. Every month I love to pop in and see what you have created. Your work is always so uplifting and gorgeous. It seems that even when you retire from designing, the urge to create just keeps on going. VBG! What a wonderfully talented person you are. Thanks ever so much for the free patterns.

Blissfully Stitching,
Bobbie
