April 27th…right?
Then what’s wrong with this picture???
Yesterday I was weeding and today this! Yuk!
The daffodils aren’t too happy…
And this little guy is freezing his patooties.
There’s even a thin film of ice on top of the water in the bird bath.
*Sigh*
Where did Spring go?
Kaaren ♥
Oh no! Not snow!! We're under a freeze warning tonight but I don't think there's any snow in the forecast thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteOoooo...BAD SNOW! Go away.
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't believe it!!! We had pretty high winds last night and it's markedly cooler today but snow?? Oh, I hope it's gone fast -- that the sun melts it before the day is out!
ReplyDeleteI saw on the weather report that snow was possible further North. I forgot that you were further North.
ReplyDeleteMy mantra is:
No winter last forever, no spring fails to appear.
But sometimes it makes you wonder.
That happened to us just last week. Aargh! Confusing isn't it.
ReplyDeleteewwww!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Yikes. I hope it clears up quickly!
ReplyDeleteHeavens... No snow here.
ReplyDeletecold and sunny. So I'm in my sewing room.
Oh no! Hope it goes away fast!
ReplyDeleteIt is supposed to snow here and go below 30 tonight. Ick!!!
ReplyDeleteOooooo NO!! You have to be kidding!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think they are calling for snow, but for another possible frost tonight here in Ky.I sure hope they are wrong. I still have lots of pretty blooms on several plants, and I know once the Spring flowers are gone, the heat and dry weather will fix the summer flowers.I have truly enjoyed this wonderful Spring season we've had this year. Everything has been beautiful here.I hope the snow doesn't do too much damage to your lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Kaaren! Not a good thing. Spring is supposed to be here.
ReplyDeleteOh yuck! Stinky snow.
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting here wearing a flannel shirt over my sleeveless t shirt I started out in this morning. Is this a weird spring or is it me.
ReplyDeleteMarie
Oh no! just know that it won't be there long, but it sure is disheartening.
ReplyDeleteWe got dumped on also but with a lot of rain and some hail. April is such a fickle month :)
ReplyDeleteYIKES!! It sucks to live in your neck of the woods...you need to go west...no snow here...not even for the Olympics!! ;o)
ReplyDeleteTake care...the big thaw is coming!!
Paulette

ReplyDeleteI think you skipped summer.
ReplyDeletebut it looks so pretty. great stitching weather for you, if nothing else. this means you are in for one yukky hot summer.

ReplyDeleteCrazy weather!!
My daughter is in NY and yep...SNOW.

Hope Spring comes your way soon
HOPE
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh............NAUGHT!
ReplyDeleteBrrr! Don't worry, spring (and maybe summer) will be back this weekend.
ReplyDeleteOH NO!!!!! That's a sight you don't want to see in spring! We've got freeze warnings tonight, my furnace keeps kicking on....but no snow!
ReplyDeleteNo that picture's all wrong. It's like you stepped back in time. I hope it warms up quick again.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...I love it!!! Send some my way PLEASE??? I am in a tshirt and ready to pick up an 84 year old friend to take her to a nice village north of us for a little time out. It is going to reach summer hot temps today. Umm...did you notice I am the only comment that actually likes seeing your snow? I would stand up and shout Winter Rules but you might throw a snowball at me. :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs from Holland ~
Heidi
Oh Kaaren, I'd cry if I woke to that! Wishing you warm days and snow free ones too, B=)
ReplyDeleteIt will be back and in the mean time I advice you take some sewing on hand ;-)
ReplyDeleteThink warm thoughts, the sun will be back soon, at least that's what I keep telling myself.
ReplyDeleteOh Nooooo!! Once here in Illinois it snowed on Mother Day in early May! Your poor flowers, it is just not right!
ReplyDeleteSpring can be so tempermental! Hope this is the last snow for the season!
ReplyDeleteOMG!! I do not miss the spring surprises in the northeast. I grew up in Syracuse NY area and learned to drive in 10 foot snow drifts .... yuk! We moved west 30 yrs ago and I do not miss the spring snowfall !!
ReplyDeleteOh No!! I hope it melts real fast and warms up soon. Such pretty photo's though. Have a lovely week.
