Wow! These gals are fast! It’ll be two weeks on Friday since I released my A Colonial Christmas Sampler FFF (First Friday Freebie) and two speedy gals have already completed theirs.
First is Miche’le (not a typo) from New Zealand. Don’t you just love the way she made it her own by adding a mitered border?
Then there’s Julie from the USA. Julie plans to give hers to her son and daughter-in-law as this is their first Christmas together as a married couple.
What a wonderful keepsake gift. Now that truly does make my heart sing!
Great job gals and thanks for sharing!
And just in case you missed it, you may download the free pattern here.

Next month’s is already done and will be available on December 4th, the First Friday of December. It’s a design that I adapted from one of my paintings and I think you’ll like it.
Happy Stitching!
Kaaren ♥
Wow - they were fast and GOOD! I love the way Michele finished hers and Julie's will make a wonderful heirloom. How wonderful to see them finished!
ReplyDeleteFun show and share! You have some fast stitchers for sure. I'll be watching next Friday to add to my "collection" of patterns!
ReplyDeleteI love both of the finished samplers. The one with the miters looked almost like it was in a picture frame when I first looked at it. Yes, those are 2 speedy stitchers. You are a talented designer! ~Karen
ReplyDeleteThis is my first visit to your blog and I love it! I want to thank you for your freebies. I just downloaded November's and look forward to December's. I have much more of your blog to peruse. :)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. It sure is wonderful to see such productive gals.
ReplyDeleteThe stitchery with the mitered border, at first glance I thought it was in a picture frame. Both stitcheries are nicely done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job ladies! And, it would certainly bring you joy seeing what lovely quilts were created from your designs. Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteGreat show and tell.. They are fast stitchers and lovely work.

My goodness they are fast - I just got mine traced onto fabric! I can't wait to get started!
ReplyDeleteThankyou Kaaren for the design and the privilege of having a wee bit of stitchery displayed on your bog.
ReplyDeleteMany hugs my friend.

(p.s. what looks like a typo is supposed to be a grave accent but I can't find one on the computer :(
There's no flies on these ladies, don't they look great? I love the idea of a mitred border, it looks like a frame.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful Kaaren! Thanks so much for the share!!!
ReplyDeleteThose two are fast. I have mine traced but I need to get the perfect floss.
ReplyDeleteI love the way the first one has the fabric border. Very nice.
