Saturday morning and it’s raining. Yippee! My gardens and grass are singing this morning after suffering through mid 90F degree weather for most of the week. It seemed like the lush green turned to brown almost overnight. Although I watered, there’s nothing like the natural rain to quench a garden’s thirst.
Rumi is having a giveaway for this wonderful little gift bag that she created over at the lucky frog blog. ‘Hop’ on over to enter.
I also discovered a wonderful new blog that I’d like to share. Please stop by Dorothy’s blog, Doki Quilts and welcome her to to blogland. She hasn’t had many visitors yet so let’s all surprise her.
And for those of you who would like to see some amazing quilts and have never visited Janet’s blog, Quiltsalott, go on over and have a look. I promise that you won’t be disappointed.
Have a super weekend wherever you are and as always…
Happy stitching!

Hi Kaaren
Thank you for the links - I've hopped on over to Doki Quilts to say g'day... and just checked out the other site too, which I have seen before, and which is wonderful!
Hugs! Vikki x

Thanks for the links! I will go have a look-see!
wow--thanks for the shout-out!
hi gorgeous! so pleased to hear you are having some lovely rain. it can be quite devastating to see what the heat can do to gardens in such a short time.

big hugs,

Just found your blog by surfing the web while on vacation. Thanks for the links.
Thanks for the links!
I know my garden and plants were loving the rain, hopefully it won't rain too much this week, just enough for the crops and flowers!
Can you send some of those rain clouds my way too Kaaren? It is so hot here in Holland and we are just not used to it. On top of that, we have to keep the house shut up because of having the industrial dehumidifiers in the house. No air co and just one fan in our bedroom is making it like a sauna in the house. And what is better for needle and thread than a rainy day??? Are your flowers smiling at you now?
Hugs ~
Heidi
Oh, I wish your rain could end up here...thanks for the link to Doki Quilts...what a fun, new to me blog!
