Safe Harbor Flimsy and Bloglovin'

Google reader is shutting down at the end of the month so if you have been following me there, this is just to inform you that you can now follow me on Bloglovin'.

In order to do so, I have to claim this blog as mine, hence this post.

If you'd like to be notified when I write a new post, just click on the link below or on the Bloglovin' button on my sidebar.

Safe Harbor is now on it's way to my friend Alice to be quilted.  I am so excited and hope that I can keep my impatience in check while waiting for it to be returned.

Safe Harbor...the completed flimsy.

As mentioned previously, I am going to try to have the pattern packet for sale as soon as I can.  I have to wait until it is quilted and returned to me in order to be able to take the necessary photographs to be included in with the instructions and line drawings.  Many of you have expressed interest in purchasing the pattern and I promise to let you know the minute it's ready.

Happy stitching!

  1. It's sure pretty! Love those borders too! I'm a bit frustrated with Bloglovin. Maybe it is just me. But when I read my marked blogs through Bloglovin I can't leave a comment sometimes. So if I really want to comment I need to get out of Bloglovin. Does that make sense?

  2. I love it, Karen! I live in a little island, Mallorca, in Spain and I love visiting lighthouses, I love all related to the see and I think this quilt is wonderful.
Please, tell me when I can buy the pattern.

  3. Your quilt is gorgeous Kaaren and I can't wait to see what the quilter will do to enhance what is already an incredible quilt. I have the same problem as Quilt Hollow as far as comments from bloglovin , glad to know it is not just me.

  11. What a gorgeous quilt!!! I love all things related to the shore or ocean so I am really loving this pattern. If I should buy it though, I will be calling my quilt Briney Breeze because I still like that name the best as it brings my sense of smell into play. Ah the smell of salt water and the marshes!!!

Thank you for telling me (us) about google. I am not "computer enough" to know what is happening so I did the blov what ever it is so ill follow you from there.
I was just going to blogs when ever I wanted then I found that I could sign up and be notified when a person blogged ... I think of it as the lazy way to keep in touch but its so easy to not check up on you bloggers as real life gets busy and I don't want to miss what you have to say especially if a prayer is needed
