  31. Hi Kaaren, gosh your veges look great and your new 'girls' are producing well! When I got my 1st lot of chooks they were 'araucanas' lovely smokey grey/lilac colour and they lay 'blue' eggs! very light in colour so when i got new ones it was lovely to get big brown eggs! As it is winter here they are off the lay except one but i haven't had to buy any as yet. hope it's good news for you . sue~n.z.

  44. You are wayyy too good! You need me...I'll be that jerk everyone hates-- that demands answers yesterday...that makes a seen and embarresses the entire family. Every family has one....I could do that for you. There's a special place in heaven for you... your patience is a virtue.... Beautiful pic....

  45. I hope you find out the answers soon. The not knowing would drive me crazy. I am so in love with your quilts and with your chickens. I have been asking hubby for some chickens for months now. I just want 3 females to lay eggs for us. Everyone thinks I am crazy. We do not live out in the country but I think we are allowed to have them in the county.
Hugs to you and prayers also being said for you and your family.
    Hugs,
    Lynn
