Raggedy & Friends–Blocks 10, 11 & 12

I realize that this might come as a surprise to those of you who are working on my Raggedy & Friends BOM because this month, due to the constant distractions resulting from our long distance move and now the renovations to our house, I have decided to publish the remaining three blocks today rather than spread them out over the next three months as was my original plan.  Some of you will get to them right away and others will save them for a rainy day.  Whichever you decide to do, enjoy the journey.

So, without further ado, please click HERE for the link to the PDF file for Blocks 10, 11 and 12.  Please remember to click on the blue download button and follow the prompts, waiting the appropriate times indicated in the directions.  It’s a LARGE file so please be patient while it loads.

The links to all 12 blocks will remain on my sidebar for as long as I think there is still an active interest in them and they will always be FREE.  Somewhere, in some box that is yet to be unpacked, is the design for another quilt that I will offer as new BOM as soon as I can complete it…whenever the dust settles…literally.

~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~

Thank you all for your interest, loyalty and support.  I continue to be overwhelmed at the numbers who are making this quilt.  I hope you continue to enjoy making it as much as I did.

I will continue with my FFF’s (First Friday Freebies) on the First Friday of every month for as long as I can.  At some point, the well of ideas is apt to run dry but I’m hoping that will be some time in the distant future.

~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~

For those of you who have been following along with our house renovations, things are progressing well.  The crew we have working here are diligent and thorough and we are very pleased with both the quality and effort of their work.  I am hoping to have some decent photos to show you by Tuesday or Wednesday.  By that time they should be at least three quarters done.  In the interim, we are still living in a major construction zone where hard hats should probably be worn but aren’t.  *wink*

Thank you Kaaren for sharing these fantastic blocks with us. I have stored them on my computer and will making it later. I have to finish some other things first.
Thanks again, I adore the design.

thankyou for the raggedy updates.
It's fantastic that you have reliable tradesmen working diligently. It would make things so much worse if they dragged it out and were unreliable.
Sounds like you are counting down.

Amazing how you can get this done with all the construction going on. I think it's the most downloaded project in the history of free PDFs!!! And as cute as it is, it's no surprise.

Wow! Thank you Kaaren. I do suppose it is better for you to post the Raggedy patterns this way. One less thing to wrap your mind around. Thanks for sharing this wonderful quilt with us. When finished, it will definitely be my favourite quilt!
Glad to hear that the renovations are coming along. Good to know that the people in charge know what they are doing. It makes you sleep well at night!
Best of luck!

How kind you are to think of others in the middle of your construction. I have been there and I understand the challenges that you are experiencing..........

It will be great when you get finished and you can enjoy your home for many years to come.

This spring will find you outside putting your special touch on the garden........ I will be looking forward to the pictures.

I think you have been most generous with your patterns/designs. I can understand the full release and March is a long harsh month here in New England - perfect for working on these. I have had lots of compliments on this project and have turned all to your site.

I would be happy with your work crew, too. They are very productive as well as thorough. I am amazed how quickly things are going - although to you it probably feels an eternity.

Soon you will be giving us a grand tour - inside and out. It will be spendid!

You are amazing to be able to get those out despite the big move and construction!!

I am thrilled that the crew is doing such a great job. Construction problems can be such a nightmare. I know I am not the only one looking forward to seeing it all done, especially Mr and Mrs Painted Quilt!! HUGS!!

Dear Sweet Kaaren, through packing, moving, some unpacking, construction, etc you've continued to provide these adorable patterns - THANK YOU!

I've enjoyed printing & stitching them for Carol of Brown Quilts 4 Me. She's truly enjoyed receiving them and when she has all the blocks she plans to make the quilt.

Again, thank you!

You may think this construction is a pain, but I'm sure it will be well worth it. I had just my kitchen and family room redone this past summer, and now the pain is a distant memory. Kathie L in Allentown

Thanks Kaaren. These blocks are so cute. I still have a Raggedy Ann and Andy that are 30+ years old and now sit on my grandkids toy shelf for when they visit. I think perhaps they need a quilt.

This was a nice surprise to get the last of the blocks for this great project. I have kept up so far. Thanks for the FREE pattern. Can't wait to see what you have for us next. However, take time to get your house back in order first.

Hugs to you.
