Now and again I like to press the ‘pause button’ and to take the time to reflect upon some of the recent happenings in my life. Without making this post soppy and philosophical, I would just like to say that I have much to be thankful for…friends, family, a comfortable life and reasonably good health. Can one ask for much more?
I feel good and I’d like to share that feeling so I’m having a giveaway…”Just Because”. I love doing things "just because" and on the spur of the moment. It's to easy to get caught up in the "have to's" and miss out on the beauty, joy and fun of life. I made up a saying in childhood that I hold on to to this day, "Every Day a Happy Day, Every Day a Party!" There are so many blessings how can we help but smile and "party"?!

Doing something for someone else "just because" is something more of us should do. Quilters and stitchers are the most "giving & sharing" group I've ever encountered, whether it is a bit of fabric or a great tip. Thank you for a fun blog and giveaway.

With a son recovering from almost three weeks of sickness I realize I am thankful for good health. And a partner to share all the burdens with, I had a hard time coping when being on my own last week with this sick child. So very glad he is back!!!
