Mystery Quilt-Along Step 2

Did you all finish with Step 1?

If you didn't, no worries because if you remember my words when we got started just last week, "It's not a race!"  The links to the files will always be available for you to access here on my blog.

From your overwhelming response both here and on Facebook, I going to guess that there are probably over 500 people sewing along.  Kinda cool, huh?

Here is my quilt top with both Steps 1 and 2 complete.

I know that many of you have been waiting patiently for Step 2 so just click HERE to download the PDF file containing the photo, layout and instructions.

Step 3 to follow in a couple of weeks so stay tuned!

Happy stitching!

Thanks, Kaaren. I just discovered this today and posted about it on QuiltBOM. You are right. Who doesn't LOVE a house block? This is adorable, and I'm saving the steps because I know I can't start it right this minute. I think it'll be a great fall/winter project, though. I certainly have the scraps for it. =)

I didn't get started yet, but I'm hoping to catch up within the next few weeks. Love the fabrics you are using!

thanks Kaaren, unfortunately the writing for the borders is not clear enough for me to read, hopefully my granddaughter will be able to help me with it she has much younger eyes than me!

I have finished step one. You came along with this at the right time. I had just finished my 2nd Safe Harbor and was ripe for the picking. Enjoying this so much. Thanks Kaaren. Hope you are keeping well.

Just printed off my steps. Busy getting ready for roofers to come. My grand daughter boyfriend's brother is coming a long way to do this for me. When she told him 5 others had tried to rip her GM off he said he'd do it. The rains here for 2 months have been terrible. A leaking roof has made it so stressful I've not been able to sew! Now that's a lot of stress. Really looking forward to doing this quilt with you!!!!!!

Oh Kaaren, you are one creative lady and generous too. This is a sweet little pattern and seems so doable for us novices. Dare I join this? Have a few WIP s on the go is the problem. LOL
