Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your thoughts and prayers with respect to my health issues.  The good news is that the latest PET scan has shown that the cancer has not spread but that there is some “increased uptake” in the original area.  After our consultation, they immediately made an appointment for me to return to Halifax on Friday of this week to meet with an oncologist who specializes in this type of cancer in order to determine the next step.

May this Christmas be your best one ever!

Be always in stitches.

Lucky girl that won! Hey look at this cancer thing this way---you are heading it off at the pass. It may not be the cancer "cure" but it's a cancer managment plan we can pray about, right?!?!?

I've had better news from two ladies this morning on health issues. I have been praying for both of you, your doctors and for your families. Wisdom, courage and strength are my words right now.

I think someone should draft that quilt pattern up! What a wonderful quilt that would make...hmmmm I just might try it next week, after all the hubbub is over. YES. That is a plan!

Nice of you to have a give away.
And very happy you are staying on top of your medical situation.
Hope you can spend Christmas at home with hubby. I know what it is like to be in the hospital during Christmas. The one up sides if you were at Stanford (ca, usa) they handed out baked and iced cookies, and gingerbread, my favorite. Hubby got an iced christmas tree. Gingerbread for me, and the treat made me smile.
