The 20th of September already…can you believe it? The leaves have started to change color and probably by this time next month, the gorgeous colors of Autumn will be just about over. The nights are crisp and the days are cool…my favorite time of year has arrived!
Thank you all for sending me photos of your first two blocks of Raggedy & Friends. There are no two even remotely similar and it’s so cool to see how you are all putting your own spin on them. You are more than welcome to upload them to my Flickr Gallery which you can access HERE. Then everyone will be able to see them.
Block 3 is ready to go and is available HERE.
Remember to click on the blue download button and follow the instructions. For those of you who might have missed Blocks 1 & 2, you can find the links to them at the top of my right sidebar.
See you on the 20th of October for Block 4.
In the meantime…
Happy stitching!
Kaaren ♥
Thanks Kaaren. I feel like a child who can't wait for Christmas day to arrive. Every Raggedy block is like a present I just want to unwrap (in this case download and piece/stitch) and enjoy...

Thanks, Kaaren! Block 1 is completed, but block 2 & 3 will have to be put on hold for a few more weeks. ~karen

ReplyDeleteSo glad you mastered the go cutter.
Sweet as can be.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it is already the 20 of September. Where has my year gone. Thanks for the stitching blocks. One is done, two will be done today so I can start three.
ReplyDeleteI can feel Fall at times - a little tease that Fall is coming.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kaaren...I had lost track of time and here it is another block. I haven't started any yet as I have so busy getting things done for my daughter's wedding this Sat. I have the fabric that I am going to use all ready. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kaaren, you give me so much inspiration! You are a gem! Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thrill that everyone is putting personal touches to the blocks. That's awesome for you too.
ReplyDeleteIt's warming up here I think, I'm getting hot under the quilt I'm stitching on.Our seasons are exactly opposite.
Thanks Kaaren - I look forward to this day every month. It's like opening a present.
ReplyDeleteHugs - Marie
Thanks Kaaren. I was so happy to see the new design. I have to wait to start until I have finished the needle keep design of yours. I love them all.

ReplyDeleteI'm tellin' ya Kaaren...as soon as me and Ms. Crockett are finished I'm determined to spend some time with little Miss Ann.
ReplyDeleteI love these and really wish I could stitch. I'm doing another BOM now, but I've found a way to do it all on my machine. I'm such a cheater, lol. I just blogged the latest one.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo - it's September 20 - new Raggedy blocks. (omg, it's already Sept 20) LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm off to print and I'll get busy later today.
I will save this one, too, as I am behind again. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping them current and available on your sidebar rather than "retiring" them after the month. I take a look and usually download the latest but sometimes forget.
Have a great day! ~Karen
... and I can't believe it's the 20th of September already either!
... and I asked Karen LogCabinQuilter if she had cut any wool with her GO. Have you tried that yet? Just curious... thanks
Thank you so much Kaaren for the Block 3 adorable patterns. I haven't had a chance yet to start my Annie's but I am so anxious I can hardly stand it. I'm thinking I'll get the go ahead to get re-aquainted with my sewing machine Friday from my doctor and I have over 3 months to catch up on! I'm not sure I will know where to begin. I do know that I want to get some Christmas/Holiday things done for my house and I've been thinking that "Raggedy & Friends" would be really wonderful with Christmas fabrics, for next year. Hmmmm.....the wheels are turning here, LOL. Thanks again, Hugs...
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the music, I loved it.
ReplyDeleteKaaren, this is another fabulous one! I love your designs!
ReplyDeletewow, that came around fast. i am loving the fabrics you have used in this quilt. very scrappy.

Again, thank you Kaaren for offering such a lovely BOM. Given your theme, no wonder it is so popular :) Happy crafting, Jenny
ReplyDeleteThank you for the new block! I just finished piecing the block and will trace the pattern on it next.
ReplyDeleteI'm like many of your followers - these blocks are like presents waiting to be opened. I am actually making these for a dear friend who cannot do the handwork and is a lover of Annie. We both are enjoying the outcome.
ReplyDeleteThank you for another lovely block. For those of us who up feeling more like Raggedy Annie than Barbie, it's a real treat to see her looking so lovely.
ReplyDeleteKaaren, I just dropped by to see what was cookin in your little part of the blog world and this was the first time I noticed in your sidebar, the free download of "Memories of Lancaster County". I immediately saved it and printed it out. The painting is just beautiful and I am so excitied to have the pattern to do a stitchery with it. What a beautiful table topper this would be. I love it, thank you so much. I have also been using DMC 115 in a lot of my stitching as I love the texture it gives to the piece. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteMMMM I just heard about this Kaaren...from Rae Ann I think it was...This is adorable...years ago I used to make raggedy ann dolls...sold quite a few...this all before www.
ReplyDeleteNext one you do, I would love to participate...

Hi Karen....thanks for another wonderful block however, I can't connect to the site where your blocks are for some reason...it's happening with other designers' blocks too...have you heard of any other problems accessing the website?
ReplyDeleteI haven't started yet but am printing them out to start soon.
sugary hugs

Happy Fall my friend! FINALLy - it has arrived! I'd love to see pictures of your outside fall decor!! ( I didn't want to comment on the newest post since I am not entering. I din't know if it would mess up your system of keeping track!!) Good luck to all the entrants!!
ReplyDeleteFinally able to catch up on all my blog reading, and so excited that block #3 is waiting for me!!
ReplyDeleteSo darn cute. Thank you again, Kaaren for sharing such a wonderful project with us.
Karen
I completed block 3 and found that the 4 1/2" square is missing from the cutting list - it wasn't a problem as it is on the layout chart - but you had me scratching my head and searching for a missing piece of fabric
ReplyDeleteThank you Kaaren!! I do look forward to these each month :)
ReplyDeleteSheilaC
I just stumbled upon your page and am so happy!! I love Raggedy's! I am jumping in late, but I will be caught up by the next block. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow precious! I love this idea! ♥
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely quilt! I've successfully downloaded 1,2,and 4, but 3 won't download for me at all. I just keep getting a timeout message from 4Shared. :(
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt, (love the entire blog, actually!), but am unable to download block 3. I have tried three times over the past few days.
