I’ve been stripping…doing lots of stripping as a matter of fact. No, not as in taking my clothes off…perish the thought…but as in cutting strips of fabric in all different shapes and sizes.
I joined Stephanie’s “No Strings Attached” challenge and today’s the day I’ve set aside to start piecing these guys.
I think Stephanie has over 100 people who have joined in the challenge so if you’d like to find out more about it or join in, click here and that will take you over to Loft Creations. There will be prizes along the way too!
But you’d better hurry because today is the last day to sign up for the challenge. Just think…you too can become a stripper! *wink*
Happy stitching…and stripping!
Kaaren ♥
Hey, hey, hey, I'm a stripper too. LOL I've been thinking about my first project this morning. I love string quilts and always have plans to make another one and then don't. LOL

ReplyDeleteOh, neat! I can't wait to see your progress. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi - I've never "stripped" before (or made a strip quilt either). I guess I'm the novice here. I hope I can keep up with the rest of you.
ReplyDeleteI read up on this the other day and it looks like something else I would like to try :) I just want to finish my daughter's quilt for her bed and the little rag table runner I started and I have another to make for a blog reader...then maybe I can get to work stripping away with some scraps! You know, I wanted to do something with the leftover pieces from Af's quilt...maybe I could make a little topper for her toy box or something?
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of your weekend :)
Leslie
Yup, I have a million strips I've thrown in a tub - now I just have to find time to sew them!
ReplyDeleteI love stripping! I can wait to see what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteCute post Kaaren! I've joined in as well...though I haven't started stripping yet--lol!
