4th of July Giveaway!

Kaaren's_4th_of_July_button_sml

♥GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED♥

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Even though the 4th of July is an American Celebration of Independence, I would like to invite everyone from around the world is to join in.  I’ll explain more as you read on.

If you’d like to play, here’s what to do.

1. Leave a comment on this post and your name will be entered once.

2. If you do a blog post about my giveaway and post the giveaway button on your blog with a link back to my blog, then you’ll get five additional entries.  For those of you who post about giveaways in your sidebar, that’s fine too.  Please make sure you tell me that you’ve done this so I can award you with the bonus entries.

DSCN0588There will be 4 separate drawings, one for each item shown above.  They are all original designs and were either hand made or painted by me.  As you can see, two are American themed and two are not.

DSCN0576#1 is an Americana-themed, 8” x 4” papier mache box.  I designed it to be used as a sewing box with the top as a pincushion but may be used in other ways as well.

DSCN0579  DSCN0580#2 is an Americana-themed needlecase.  When closed, it measures 4” x 6” and the pincushion is detachable.

DSCN0595#3 is a 12” x 12” throw pillow.  The main design features wool elements appliquéd to a cotton background.

DSCN0587 #4 is an original hand painted design that appeared in my first decorative painting book, Kaaren’s Sentimental Favorites.  It is painted on a wooden reproduction antique utensil box measuring 10 1/2” x 5” x 2”.

When you post your comments, please indicate which item you’d like to win and your name will be entered with that item.  To give everyone a fair chance, please enter your name only once and for one item only.  For those of you who complete #2 above, I will personally enter your five additional entries under the item you originally selected.   Also, if you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address where you may be contacted in the event that you are one of the winners.

The drawing will take place on Friday, July 3rd and I will ship internationally.

Now let’s have some fun!

Kaaren

P.S.  A special thank you to Robyn for making the button for me.

Oh Kaaren, what an incredible contest! I would love to win the needlecase "I pledge allegiance"! Thank you for the chance!

My hard drive failed several weeks ago. I am just getting back online but have lost so many things that I did not back up! My computer was so old, it just did not work one day...no warning at all! Anyhow, I've missed visiting, and I must say, you've been busy! Great needlecase tut!

Again, thanks for the chance to enter your contest!

Hi Kaaren,
What lovely work you do and what a nice giveaway you are hosting. I am another Canadian girl from Western Canada( Edmonton). I love boxes so the handpainted box would be my choice from your giveaway prizes.
I will go and add your name to my blog list- I know that I have seen your blog before but not for awhile- a thank you to Robyn for directing back to you again.
Regards,
Anna

Kaaren, you are truly talented. I would love to win the needlecase. I've always wanted to make one, just never seem to have the time to do it. Thanks

Hello Karen
I found your blog while reading Bluebird Quilts blog.
All of the items you have made are fabulous,
Please enter me for the Americana Needlecase. I like it because of the Patriotic theme , colors of red, white and blue and the words " I Pledge Allegiance" on the cover. I plan to write a post on your blog as well. Can I copy and paste the button image for the giveaway? I'll try.
