My plan for today is to start working on the fourth block of Anne's Tisket-A-Tasket BOM and just for a change of pace, I'm going to do the wool version first. I'll prep both the wool and needle turn blocks at the same time as I find it's much more time efficient that way. Barring any unforeseen interruptions, I'm hoping for a productive day.
This is a little gathering of sewing related antiques and memorabilia I have hanging on the wall near to where I sit and sew in my studio that I've managed to collect over the years. Older things that have served other folks in times past give me great solace and pleasure and I thought I'd share them with you today.
Have a super day and as always...
Happy stitching!
I love a rainy dreary day for quilting....enjoy it!

Hi Kaaren! It was so nice to have you visit me at my blog. Thank you for your comment. I stopped in to say hello and find another wonderful blog to add to my list. I love this sewing collage. I too have a cupboard full of fun items. It just makes you smile. I agree that rainy days are the best. I love sitting inside and listening to the rain fall as I quilt or stitch.

Oh my, I'm reading others' comments about the weather... maybe everyone should just come to my place for a picnic outside in the sun today. Hmmm... Kaaren, you bring the beach blanket, and I'll make a potato salad. Don't forget your sunglasses... you're going to need them!
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish for rainy days! Have fun working on your tisket a tasket!
ReplyDeleteOh, I crave those kinds of days. I'm coming to sew with you! Enjoy! LOL

Your display has so many cute things. I think I have the same little book in the lower left corner. Mine has a thimble on a ribbon for the bookmark. Thanks for sharing!
