Exciting news!

Now that it's confirmed, I can share my news with you all.

 I've been asked to design a project(s) for my absolutely favorite magazine...
Primitive Quilts & Projects


The first one will appear in the Fall 2014 issue and the second one will probably be sometime in 2015.  Of course I can't tell you what it/they will be because we want it to be a surprise but you all know and are familiar with my style and I promise you won't be disappointed.

My deadline is May 1st and all I can say is that I'm thankful that this gorgeous "crackle" fabric from Moda arrived just the other day which I'll be using in my design along with some others that are on the way to me as well.
The design is done and the dates and deadlines are set.  I will be starting to work on it this week and my goal is to have it completed by the end of the month.

Can you tell I'm excited?

    Congratulations - its great when you see your work in print. I write for the British Patchwork and Quilting magazine, and I know I was very proud when I saw my first project in print. Makes everything worthwhile.

    My favorite as well. Can't wait to see your contributions. I know they will be great. The ladies are cousins to one of my best friends! They have been vendors at our guild quilt show as well. Wonderful young women, full of enthusiasm and have great passion for quilting. Bravo to you!!!
