Baby it's cold outside!

Brrrr!

It's darn cold out there!  And not only that, we're under a blizzard warning.  It's snowing and blowing and I'm sure happy that I'm inside looking out and not the other way around.
So what's a gal to do when she's stuck indoors?

Silly question, huh?

I'm going to hunker down by the fire with the boys and continue to work on a woolly needlecase that I designed.
Who knows...maybe I'll finish it today!
Brrrrr!
Stay safe and warm wherever you are!

Happy stitching!

Needle case is so cute. We just went through a bitter cold spell here in Manitoba. -11c right now so we will enjoy while it lasts. Stay warm and hope this is the last for you for a while.

It looks cold, but also beautiful.
Our winter is still green, but it's windy and not so nice, foggy and rainy....
Anyway, your needle case looks nice, happy sewing.

Brrr Yes Indeed!
Lovely needle case

In this part of Vermont south of Burlington, wind, blowing snow and bitter cold. The sun is trying. I've been sewing by the window glad to be indoors. I shoveled a little at daybreak, and it feels colder now even though the thermometer says its warmer.

what a lovely needle case... Great! It looks warm in itself.

Due to cancer treatment I'm struggling with neuropathy in my hands at the moment, so making new things is a bit difficult at the moment.

But the crafting itself is so relaxing, I turned to knitting for the moment. Hoping I can sew and cross stitch soon again.

Good luck with all the snow and the cold winter. Even here in the Netherlands we're told about the bad weather in Canada and the US.

Sweet needlecase Kaaren...and as for the cold and snow here in Nova Scotia...enough already and then rain for Monday. What's a girl to do but sew, sew and then more sewing..Enjoy your day with the boys

Hi Kaaren,

I love your new wool needle case.

I is cold around here; presently -24C and -34'C with windshield factor - the windshield factor for tonight is supposed to be -37'C. I am keeping busy inside the house.

The forecast for Sunday and Monday is rain and snow.

Happy New Year to you and your family!

Looks lovely. We never get snow where I live in NZ, but I would love to be able to look outside and see that view ( occasionally)
I hope you have a great year health wise Kaaren.

Very much like your needle case. Cute, cute!

Good thing you have such a great attitude about the weather you are experiencing. Hope you have all you need, in addition to sewing stuff, to get thru this latest weather pounding.

I wont tell you about the weather we are suffering with here in Santa Cruz, CA.

Keep stitching, we like seeing the results.

We just got hit with that storm, got a nice covering but it is bitter cold, so too cold to go out and enjoy it.
Wonderful needle case, always love wooly things.

Glad to hear you are warm and cozy and have power!

Your needle case so lovely. I was visitng with fellow stitchers today and worked on a Primitive Gatherings snowman piece. Almost stitched then ready to be sandwiched and quilted. I have to make make the frame for it, you swap out the four seasons.

Part of my Sew Finish It Up goal for 2014.

feel cold just looking at the weayher you are having, here in the UK it is a mild winter but some parts have had terrific rain and floods, we have had a lot of the high winds but not much rain fortunately.

Hmm, today is first Friday of month and year 2014. Maybe a FFF for this month and to sell after that. Just a thought, if it wasn't a FFF I would sure buy it.

I just love your blog and the way your two pets are always snuggling togather. Also so glad for last years Cancer Free diagnosis.

Take care my BLOGGY friend. Isn't Nova Scotia where Anne of Green Gables took place?
