Oh happy day! All my obligations for this year are complete and now I can start thinking about projects for me. My swap gifts are made and have been sent out except for one which according to the rules cannot be sent out til November. Woo hoo! I have so many things on my ‘to do’ list I just don’t know where to start…but I’m sure I’ll find something to occupy both my hands and mind.
Four more great gals sent me photos of their completed First Friday Freebie, ‘Fall is in the Air!’
The first one is from Bea who made hers into a pillow. What a beautiful photo! Bea is from France and she was my swap partner in the ‘Good ‘Ol Summertime’ mini quilt swap.
This next one is from Karen in Florida. Cool, huh?
This one is from Carol Lewis. Love that homespun border, Carol!
And this last one is from Kathy in British Columbia. Unfortunately Kathy didn’t send me a link to her blog so I can’t pass it on to you.
Thank you all so much for sharing.
While I’m on the subject of new designs, don’t forget to come back this Friday because it’s the first Friday of the month and you know what that means… First Friday Freebie day!
I don’t know about you but I’m sure excited!
See y’all on Friday! Til then…
Happy stitching!
Kaaren ♥

The stitcherys all look so good, what a thrill for you. Fancy having a clean slate, I wonder what you are going to do next.
Hi, I've just found your blog . Your works are amazing, I love them. I'll surely come back to have a look at your creations.
greetings from Hungary:Manka
I'm excited just following along. Everyone is having such fun with your freebie. I've seen Carrie's darling pillow with rick rack. It must be fun and rewarding for you to see what other's are making.
What lovely stitching. It's so neat to see how everyone is doing them a little differently.
It is so much fun seeing what others have done with your patterns - I can only imagine how much MORE fun it is for you!!!
WAY TO GO - finishing your swap obligations! It's alway nice to have them checked off, isn't it?
I hope you are having the samw nice weather we are!!
hugs, Linda
Oh! How exciting that you get to do your own things now! I was so glad when my nieces and nephews got done marrying and having babies--they kept me busy making wedding and baby quilts for a couple of years.
Oh I am jealous to see you so caught up and on top of things! Fun.
It is fun seeing the different completed stitcheries that people have done. The choice of border fabric makes each one different and interesting. The one photographed with the fall flowers was a good idea.
I am looking forward to your next freebie.
And how fun to get to work on just what you want to work on the rest of the year.
It sure is a lovely design your first freebie...but i am still looking for a spare set of arms....lol...did not find the time to start this month...and now you next one is coming up already....but luckely there is no time limit to it...so you will see them for sure sometime in the future..i love stitchery too...so i will be saving and making the next ones for sure!!
greetings Francien.
I love each version! It's truly a great design--I'm looking forward to making mine. I'm finishing one more market project...and then most of my commitments will be finished as well...then on to more!
The stitcheries look great, you must be very proud to see your design, made by others.
How great that everyone is sharing your design, Kaaren! They all look terrific!! I'm trying really hard to get my version done before Halloween!
Cheers!
Congratulations on fulfillig your committments. I too just finished all my September projects and love it just so I can fill up my basket again. I love your blog!I can certainly relate to having so many ideas for projects I want to do. It must be the Canadian air!
Oh how fun to have everything done! My pile just keeps getting bigger!! I bet it is a joy to see you FFF turn into projects. I am looking forward to the next!

Oh, to be done like you, my friend! I'm only just beginning...
All those finishes are awesome! Our printer isn't feeling too good these days or I might have made one as well... it's a great pattern!
And Kathy's from B.C. you say? Do you know whereabouts? Anywhere near me?
Have a great evening, Kimberly

That is a great feeling!
Good for you!
Oh, those are great. I see some others made pillows too.
Wah - I so wish I could say I was done with all my obligations! Maybe next month? But then I'll probably commit to something else. Sigh.
Love all the stitcheries everyone did - and looking forward to Friday!
What a great feeling to be caught up. I'm still working to get there. I love seeing how everyone is doing your stitchery design. They are all beautiful.
It is so great to be ahead of the game, isn't it!?! The photos of your design are great and all so different.
Hugs ~
